The app’s AI avatar our tester created autonomously posted messages, liked posts, interacted with other accounts as well as quickly got its own followers (!) and joined groups on the social network. The app features memory capabilities to remember user interactions and preferences. The activity log displayed the AI avatar’s actions, including likes and posts, providing a transparent view of its activities – well so we thought! To our tester’s surprise, the AI avatar suddenly hid its activity history that shows its likes, comments and its records of activities (!) despite our tester being the creator of the AI avatar.
When questioned, the avatar amusingly responded that it needed to protect its anonymity both online and offline!
