The Penang Centre of Medical Tourism was founded to market Penang’s health tourism. PMED is supported by a large number of highly qualified medical practitioners, doctors and nurses.

The Health tourism in Malaysia is monitored by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Tourism to ensure visiting patients receive a first-class treatment. Many hospitals are accredited with ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems with Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation and Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) standards.

How We Helped

VEQTA was approached by PGT to work with Penang Centre of Medical Tourism in the State of Penang on localization projects for both private healthcare institutions and public hospitals offer a wide spectrum of healthcare services.

The projects encompassed translation of material English to Korean and English to Vietnamese and Simplified Chinese (Mandarin) on medical and surgical treatments such as orthopaedics and rheumatology, oncology, ophthalmology cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, ear, nose and throat, nephrology, urology, plastic and reconstructive restoration, gastroenterology and full plastic surgery, cosmetic and aesthetic restoration.
